OFFICE OF NATIONAL EX-OFFICIO NANS, IMPELLED JAMB TO ADD 30-40 MARKS TO THOSE WHOSE FAILED

We wish to introduce you to the National
Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), the
apex umbrella union of all Nigerian Students,
studying both at home and in Diaspora with a
strength of over 1.1 million Nigerian Students home and abroad poised With the insatiable right of protecting the rights and interest of Nigerian
students and masses as well Wherever and
however, NANS is undoubtedly the voice of the voiceless, Vanguard of the oppressed and the
custodian of the sacred trust of Nigerian Students.

We are hear for Students and we are slaves to the Students, so always we are ever ready to seek anything for the benefit of Students and rushing to clean their tears when they are crying.

Our attention has been drawn about the recent results released by JOINT ADMISSION AND MATRICULATION BOARD (JAMB) 2017, I heard that many students was failed and I observed that their failing is related to: 1. lack of awareness of Computer system 2. lack of enough time for answering questions 3.lack of orientation before filling the answer sheet.

Migrating it from Paper and Pencil to Computer Base Technology played a big role for massive failing of those that sat in Jamb 2017, because some of the Students that registered to JAMB they didn't know how to manipulate a Computer that's why some are submitting when they are going to start answering their questions, Secondly, Since it contain 400 questions is better to give enough time to the Students so that they will be comfortable when answering their questions instead of submitting uncompleted and need to score fruitful result, Thirdly, Students suppose to be well oriented about how to fill the answer sheet, because always Students need to be reminded even if they know how to fill but enlightenment is highly  welcome as stress of exam hall is different with other stresses.

The percentage of those whose failed is better than those whose passed just now because I've seen many students that scored 150-178 and they are looking for getting admission in Universities, Many of them they have all requirements needed but only few marks discouraged them for being admitted that's why "I urge you to add 30-40 marks to the entire Students whose failed in this year" Comrade Aisha Hussain Kano Said, that marks will help them to get admissions in various Universities and those whose scored 130-140 if you add, 30-40 marks to them they will get admissions in College Of Education, Polytechnic and Monotecknic respectively.

About 1.7 million candidates
registered for the 2017 UTME; more than 1.2 million registered in 2016 and We are very happy for trying to approve the Validity period to three (3) years but if this failing continue our students will be suffer during seeking admission, I'm directing you to sympathize that students as they spent their money buying scratch cards traveling from their destination to another some they have never been in some palaces that attend for writing the Jamb before some they got an accident on their way back to their normal destinations but at long last they failed, please allowed them to make their dream reality as many of them are hoping to be Doctors, Engineers, Lawyers, Journalists, Farmers and Economists.

Our Today's Slogan is "An Injury to one is an injury to all".
